We provide an extensive range of products for use across the rubber goods industry

From rubber seals to industrial rubber components, our range of synthetic emulsion polymers & heat/weather stable pigments are used across a broad range of rubber manufacturing industries. Our mineral extenders reinforce rubber compounds & improve dispersibility. Some of our key suppliers include Covestro, Imerys, Dynasol, Imerys and Lanxess.

Where are these products used?

Our selection of synthetic polymers are used in the manufacture of rubber goods from hose, footwear soles, friction products and seals to rubber matts, printing rollers and flooring. Our Mineral extenders provide reinforcement, easy handling and improved dispersibility in rubber compounding, they also improve mechanical and electrical properties in cable insulation.

Here you can find some examples of the suppliers we work with and the different types of raw materials we supply into rubber applications. Delve deeper into each supplier for an insight into the type of products we have on offer.

  • Dynasol Group

Dynasol supply several synthetic polymers for use in the manufacture of rubbers from tyres to industrial goods. Products we offer in their product range include:

Cold Emulprene™ SBR available in both non-oil extended and oil extended types for tyres, footwear, and general rubber industry usage

Hot Emulprene™ SBR available in bale and crumb forms for use in adhesives and sealants and friction applications

Paracril™ NBR range includes dry, oil extended and crosslinked grades available in bale, crumb and powder form. These polymers are produced by cold and hot polymerization processes for use in industrial rubber goods, printing rollers, adhesives, mats and flooring.

  • Imerys

Imerys supply a comprehensive portfolio of calcium carbonates know under the brands PolCarb™ and ImerCarb™: Both fine and ultrafine ground calcium carbonates (GCC) are used in a wide range of rubber applications as high loading extenders providing a certain level of reinforcement. Surface treated grades can be used to ease handling and improve its dispersion within the compound. Imerys’ range of Kaolins includes the branded product ranges Hexafil™, Polarite™, PoleStar™, Polwhite™ and Speswhite™, these consist of Ultrafine kaolin semi-reinforcing fillers used in a wide variety of rubber applications, Ball clays that offer more reinforcement than kaolin, as a result of its finer particle size. A common application for ball clays is in the shoe soling and rubber floor mat industry. Calcined kaolin and surface treated calcined kaolin improves mechanical and electrical properties including grades for use at all voltage levels of cable insulation compound.

  • Lanxess

Lanxess’s iron oxide and chromium oxide Bayferrox® and Colortherm® heat and weather stable inorganic pigments in black, brown, red and yellow and chrome oxide green are REACH-certified and are suitable for the colouration of a wide variety of rubber products.
