WhitChem continue to strengthen their growing team by welcoming Lucas and Hannah
Lucas Johnstone has joined our external sales team as an additional Technical Sales Representative in our coatings division. He has obtained particular expertise in paint and polymer chemistry backed by years of industrial experience in the coatings industry.
Hannah Lewis has joined our internal sales team in a newly formed role as Customer Service Administrator. Hannah has vast experience in customer facing and administrative roles and will be working alongside colleagues internally to help manage our growing product portfolio, in addition to providing customer and administrative support.
Both Hannah and Lucas have embraced taking on their new roles at WhitChem, we have been very moved and impressed by how seamlessly they have integrated into our team so quickly. We have taken the opportunity to ask them a few questions below so that you may get to know them a little better until you have the pleasure of meeting them yourselves:

What responsibilities are included in your role at WhitChem?
I provide technical support to customers with our product portfolio, offer trouble-shooting advice, and utilise my prior experience to optimise production processes and save costs.
What has you first impression of WhitChem been like?
WhitChem is professional, has an impressive portfolio of market-leading Principals and their experienced, longstanding employees have made my integration effortless
If you could travel to anywhere in the world you have yet to visit, where would it be?
Tokyo for two things in particular, for the food and for the culture.
Do you have a celebrity look alike?
I have been told that I look like Adam Lallana (footballer) – on a good day.
What’s your favourite season and why?
Summer, I’m all for the BBQ’s.
If you could exchange places with one person for the day who would it be?
Not Boris Johnson right now.

What responsibilities does your role entail at WhitChem?
I’m a jack of all trades juggling product coordination, customer service support and sales administrative responsibilities mainly.
What has you first impression of WhitChem been like?
A friendly, family feel – Neil our customer service manager won me over with his down to earth and approachable manner from the get go. After only a short space of time I feel like I’ve always been a part of the team.
If you could exchange places with one person for the day who would it be?
My cat! With little effort on his his part (other than being cute of course) he lives the life of luxury with three breakfasts a day and three comfy beds to occupy from our friendly neighbours.
If you could step back in time, to which era would you like to visit?
The 1818’s at the height of the Victorian era as a debutant.
What fear are you proud to have overcome?
A fear of needles – I now donate blood regularly and am proud to be on my 16th donation and counting!
If you could travel to anywhere in the world you have yet to visit, where would it be?
The American Ranches to experience a cattle drive.
