Where can these polyurethane raw materials be used?

Covestro’s polyurethane raw materials are used to produce high-performance, high-quality polyurethane coatings in industries such as construction, automotive, plastic, wood, corrosion protection, textiles and general industrial applications. In addition, they provide coating manufacturers with formulating freedom using their waterborne, solvent borne, high-solids and UV-curing technologies. This wide range of polyisocyanates and polyols on offer, make it possible to formulate polyurethane coatings with performance properties that can be specifically designed for each individual application.     High-performance polyether polyols are combined with Desmodur® cross linkers to formulate solvent borne elastic 2K coatings

    Polyether polyols are designed for non-solvent polyurethane adhesives, sealants, elastic coatings and foams

  • Baybond®

    Polyurethane dispersions for glass fibre sizing with excellent film-forming properties, adhesion and colour fastness

  • Baycoll®

    Polyether and polyester polyols, designed for two-component solvent borne adhesives offering particularly high strength and resistance

  • Baygal®

    In combination with Baymidur isocyanates, this ready to use polyurethane system is perfect for electrical encapsulation applications
